Our friends in Asheville and surrounding areas are invited to join us in welcoming the Drive Toward a Cure “Great Southern Adventure” participants in Grovewood Village, just across from our event hotel – the Omni Grove Park Inn. Come out to show your support for our efforts to raise awareness and funds to support Parkinson’s Disease research and patient care.

Our welcome will include a wine tasting* presented by Metro Wines of Asheville. Stroll Historic Grovewood Village, meet the organizers and participants, and enjoy the sculpture garden, the auto museum, and more…

Join us for the welcome and wine tasting (above), and take in the charming Historic Grovewood Village. And then at 8:00pm, take a seat at our dinner at the Golden Fleece Slow Earth Kitchen in Grovewood. The menu includes greens and grains to start, your choice of lamb chops, trout, chicken or vegetable paella entrées, plus dessert** and wine*. The mayor of Asheville has also been invited to help kick off our first ever “Great Southern Adventure“, raising awareness and funds for Parkinson’s Disease research and patient care.

Our friends in the Atlanta area are invited to make there way to Chateau Elan in Braselton, GA, and join us to celebrate the completion of journey from Asheville, NC. Champagne will be served at our final reception at the world-famous French-inspired Chateau and winery ahead of a sumptuous meal and wine*, hosted outdoors in the vineyard for a truly special occasion.
