April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month

The month of April is Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month, and we’re seeking friends nationwide to help us spread awareness and raise much needed funds to Drive Toward a Cure for Parkinson’s Disease. Funds raised support PD research and patient care.

A Day of Unlimited Touring Lapping

Track season is back on Friday, April 7, 2023 with NCM Motorsports Park’s “Drive Toward a Cure Day”!

All marques are welcome, convertibles are welcome, and there is no helmet requirement. Participants drive their own car in a lead-follow format for over 4 laps at a time on the 3.2-mile road course above highway speeds. The pace of lead cars will be matched to the cars and drivers in the group to ensure that the driving is spirited and the day is exciting while maintaining a safe environment that allows for passengers! We accommodate a group maximum of 5 cars per touring group.

Reservations are highly recommended. Very limited walk-in spaces will be available.

We’ve negotiated a great price for loyal NCM Drive Toward a Cure Day participants at $279 per vehicle. The fee includes:

  • Lunch for the driver. (Lunches for guests are $30 pp.)
  • A $100 tax-deductible* donation supporting Parkinson’s Disease research and patient care.
  • Unlimited lapping. Passengers are welcome — see below for info.
  • Drive Toward a Cure pin and window sticker.

A portion of our fundraising from the NCM Motorsports Park Drive Toward a Cure Day will benefit the Movement Disorders Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.

Track Weapon Experiences!

Make the day extra-special by taking one – or a couple, or all! – of NCM’s fleet on the ultimate track test drive! Pound around the 3.2-mile NCM Motorsports Park circuit for four exhilerating laps during the “Drive Toward a Cure Day”. Read more from Road & Track!

For this day only, a portion of every “Experience” will be donated to Drive Toward a Cure to support Parkinson’s Disease research and patient care!

Lunch And Learn with Tyke Durst

Returning for his second season as both a Drive Toward a Cure “Rising Star” ambassador, and F4 U.S. Championship driver with Gonella Racing, young racer Tyke Durst will be joining our Lunch and Learn session and sharing his on-track experiences and trajectory moving forward in the motorsports world.

Not only has Tyke shared our logo boldly on his racecar, helmet, and suit, but he’s returning for 2023 in his Crawford single-seat racing car and taking us with him once again.  Tyke enthusiastically shares our love of cars and driving and he’s got a strong desire to support those living with Parkinson’s and those researching to find a cure – a wonderful addition to our team!  You can also support Tyke on his own fundraising page.
