During a year that has postponed larger drives, car shows and concours events, Drive Toward a Cure is teaming with Rally Across America in support of local charities with local ambassadors creating local drives that will support the “Access to Care’” program established by Drive Toward a Cure for six regional Centers of Excellence for the global Parkinson’s Foundation.

Funds raised from this drive will benefit the Altman Clinical Translational Research Institute Movement Disorder Center at UC San Diego (La Jolla, CA), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.

New York / Darien, CT / November 28, 2020

Calling all car enthusiasts for Drive-In Chats with co-ambassadors Jeff Ehoodin and Alexander Davidis of CARCULTURE.TV who are spearheading ‘Conversations for a Cause,’ and benefitting Parkinson’s Disease.

Sign up, drive up, and share the provenance of your favorite ride for the camera. Take an hour on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend to make your car a star and bring people together: demonstrate your enthusiasm for car culture to a broader audience while supporting a valuable cause during this weekend of gratitude. Participants will receive a windshield decal, a few goodies for themselves and their car, and a custom video clip of their car.

Funds raised from this drive will benefit the Division of Movement Disorders at Columbia University (NY), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.

Join Neil d’Autremont and Keith Martin, co-ambassadors for this event, starting at Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo in Wilsonville, for a 150-mile drive through some of the most scenic areas of Oregon and SW Washington. Lunch will be included.

Funds raised from this drive will benefit the Parkinson Center at the Oregon Health & Science University (Portland), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.

Join Aaron Spaulding/Mike Thies of the Concours d’Elegance of Atlanta, and co-ambassador Bruce Piefke of Caffeine and Octane for a unique Atlanta event for the second Rally Across America Drive Toward a Cure Day, starting at Caffeine and Octane in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs, for a scenic tour of some of the finest roads to travel in the Alpharetta, Cummings, Oakwood and Gainesville areas, with a hosted lunch in Peachtree Corners.

Funds raised from this drive will benefit the Parkinson’s Disease Comprehensive Care Clinic at Emory Udall Parkinson’s Disease Center (Atlanta), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.

Join Lance Phillips of Air & Asphalt LLC, ambassador for the North Texas Dinosaur Valley Tour event. Gathering at Starbucks in Mockingbird Station, our group will enjoy a 200-mile drive through some of the most scenic areas of North Texas throughout the day’s journey. At the halfway point in Granbury, we’ll enjoy a break at The Fillin’ Station as we get ready for the second half of the tour.

Funds raised from this drive will benefit The Parkinson’s Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.
