Please join us on Saturday, October 5th 2024 for a spectacular drive through the Sierra Nevada Mountains in support of Parkinson’s research and treatment!

The Sierra Nevada Drive for Parkinson’s rally routes will begin at the Douglas County Community Center, 1329 Waterloo Road in Gardnerville, NV. Driver’s Meeting will begin at 7:30 for detailed instructions and distribution of rally maps of the three suggested routes across the Sierra Nevada to Sonora, CA and return. Wheels will roll by 8:00am and the entire rally is expected to take 6-7 hours. Every route will afford breathtaking scenery on the morning drive to Sonora, CA where we will visit the art studio of renown automotive artist Kelly Telfer. Kelly will be there to showcase his many works of art, guide us through his awesome studio and share stories of his numerous encounters with notable race car drivers and race courses. Kelly has graciously offered the use of his property for our catered lunch which is being provided by a generous benefactor in support of our event.

The afternoon drive will have us returning east to Gardnerville, NV and a visit to the Minden Mill Distillery in the neighboring town of Minden, NV. The Foley Family is very generously donating the exclusive use of their top floor tasting room (cash bar) for the early evening. This event is sure to be an exceptional, long remembered experience. Please sign up today to join us in the fight against Parkinson’s!
