It was 1817 when James Parkinson published the first detailed essay about what was then known only as “shaking palsy”. Surely it’s time we found a cure!
While April is Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month, we believe every month should offer an opportunity to spread awareness and raise much needed funds. Join us to blend cars and camaraderie for this important cause and help us to benefit those challenged by Parkinson’s Disease today and aid further research efforts to put an end to this indiscriminate, progressive movement disorder.

Let’s put your Drive Toward a Cure Day event on the calendar, work together on the plan, and use our online registration. Every month is a good month to support the cause and host a Drive Toward a Cure Day event!
Past Events
Join us for an exclusive portion of The Alisal Ranch Getaway on the morning of Monday, May 15, 2023. We’re meeting at the Culver City location of Hagerty Garage + Social for coffee and pastries, followed by about a 90 minute drive that will traverse some Los Angeles’ iconic canyon roads, climbing and carving our way to Westlake Village, before lunch at The Stonehaus Restaurant & Vineyard!
Friends who live in or will be visiting Corfu, Greece at the end of October are encouraged to visit the Corfu Festival of Classics! Classics & Supercars will have opportunities to navigate the streets of Corfu and surrounding areas, show vehicles in the Concours d’Elegance, and marvel at the revival of the Corfu Circuit after 51 years!
The “Drive Toward A Cure” is a Club Tour and fundraiser benefiting the Parkinson’s Disease Comprehensive Care Clinic at Emory Udall Parkinson’s Disease Center in Atlanta. We will meet at True Automotive (coffee & danish provided) in Sandy Springs, GA and drive to the new Savoy Automotive Museum in Cartersville, GA for lunch, with a couple pit stops along the way!
Join Mike Thies, Aaron Spaulding, and Philip Carrol of the Georgia’s Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival, along with Bruce Piefke of Caffeine and Octane, for a special North Georgia driving event, benefiting the Parkinson’s Disease Comprehensive Care Clinic at Emory Udall Parkinson’s Disease Center (Atlanta)
This time we are heading to the famous backroads and coast of the Peninsula and South Bay. Oh boy, do we have some treats for you! We will meet at 8am at scenic Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside before heading out on a great 3 hour drive with time for a break in the middle and winding up at Canepa!
Join the Watacooled Rally for a 3 Hour Rally followed by a visit to Jonnys’s Smokes Texas Style Bar-Be-Cue located in Goshen NY!
Taste of Motorsports will again be supporting Drive Toward a Cure. Watch this space for Tour info, and more about the Portland event taking place at PIR (Portland International Raceway)!
Join the Watacooled Rally in Rockland County, NY for a 2 Hour Rally followed by an Argentinian Style BBQ with Diego and Ashley Apodaca on a private property!
Watch for registration to open for the 2022 edition of Drive Toward a Cure’s 75 Days of Summer!
Join us in supporting Drive Toward a Cure, Sunday, June 12th. We will meet up at Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo (25300 SW Parkway Ave, Wilsonville) for a drivers meeting and head out from there. Get your cameras ready, rumor has it we will be seeing a few bridges on a cross county tour. Eat your heart out, Clint Eastwood.
