The reception is part of the ‘Take a Drive with Kevin’ weekend, bringing together motorsports personalities, automotive enthusiasts and an important cause.

Power, precision and purpose. Federico Sceriffo’s distinctive Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, known as “Fiorella,” brings its Formula Drift pedigree to Drive Toward a Cure®’s November 13 reception at Ferrari of Atlanta. A brand ambassador for five seasons, Sceriffo has helped introduce Parkinson’s awareness to a broader motorsports audience by bringing together the excitement of professional drifting and a mission that reaches far beyond the track.

ROSWELL, GA — October 22, 2026 — What happens when an extraordinary Ferrari, the voice of Formula One and a community united by a shared passion come together for one important cause? Something special…
On Friday, November 13, Ferrari of Atlanta will be the backdrop for an evening unlike an ordinary automotive gathering. “Fiorella,” the distinctive Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano driven by Italian professional Formula Drift competitor Federico Sceriffo, will take center stage alongside a rare 1961 Maserati 3500 GT from the collection of renowned Maserati enthusiast Ivan Ruiz.
Joining the evening will be legendary motorsports broadcaster Bob Varsha, bringing stories and perspective to a gathering that celebrates exceptional cars, enduring friendships and the life of automotive public relations veteran Kevin Smith.
Presented by Drive Toward a Cure®, the reception offers automotive and motorsports enthusiasts an opportunity to see extraordinary automobiles up close, connect with fellow enthusiasts and help make a difference for people living with Parkinson’s.
A FERRARI THAT DEFIES CONVENTION
With its unmistakable Italian heritage and a dramatic presence on the Formula Drift circuit, Fiorella is no ordinary Ferrari. Sceriffo, an Italian professional driver with an international competition career spanning two decades throughout Europe, Asia and the United States, has made his mark in a sport where precision, power and car control are everything.
His accomplishments include winning the 2012 D1GP International Match in Tokyo and earning a double podium at the 2019 Formula Drift Grand Prix during the Long Beach Grand Prix weekend. In 2018, he began competing in Formula Drift with FFF Drifting Department behind the wheel of his Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, bringing an unconventional Italian supercar to a discipline more commonly associated with other performance platforms.
Fiorella, a 1,125-horsepower machine, has become a distinctive presence in the drifting world.
Since 2022, Sceriffo has also served as a Drive Toward a Cure® brand ambassador in Formula Drift, helping connect the motorsports community with the nonprofit’s mission. Although he will be unable to attend the November 13 reception personally, Fiorella will represent his continued support for Parkinson’s awareness.
“Over the past five seasons, being part of Drive Toward a Cure has given me the opportunity to bring together two worlds that might not otherwise meet — motorsports and the fight against Parkinson’s. Through Formula Drift and Fiorella, we can capture people’s attention, introduce them to a cause they may not know much about, and show them how the automotive community can make a difference. For me, it’s about using the passion and visibility of motorsports for something bigger than racing.” — Federico Sceriffo, Professional Formula Drift Driver and Drive Toward a Cure® Brand Ambassador.
AN EVENING WITH BOB VARSHA — AND A PURPOSE BEYOND THE CARS
Varsha, one of America’s most recognizable voices in motorsports broadcasting, brings decades of experience covering Formula One and international racing. His participation adds another dimension to an evening designed for people who appreciate automotive history, performance and the personalities behind the machines.
The gathering will also feature Ivan Ruiz’s rare 1961 Maserati 3500 GT, offering guests another opportunity to experience an exceptional example of Italian automotive heritage.
But the evening has a deeper purpose.
Kevin Smith, a respected automotive public relations professional whose career included work with Saab, Lotus, Cadillac and Genesis, was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson’s in 2018. Through his longtime friendship with Deb Pollack, founder of Drive Toward a Cure®, Kevin became closely connected to the nonprofit’s mission and its efforts to support people and families living with the disease. He died on November 11, 2025, leaving behind a network of friends and colleagues committed to carrying his spirit forward.
The Atlanta automotive community has played an important role in that mission, helping Drive Toward a Cure® contribute more than $60,000 to Emory University’s Jean and Paul Amos Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Program over the years, supporting research and patient care.
“Kevin believed in relationships, and he spent his career building them throughout the automotive world,” said Deb Pollack, founder of Drive Toward a Cure®. “This evening brings together the people, cars and camaraderie that defined so much of his life. Having Fiorella join Bob Varsha and the Atlanta automotive community is another wonderful example of how our shared passion can make a meaningful difference for people living with Parkinson’s.”
COME FOR THE CARS. STAY FOR THE CAMARADERIE. BE PART OF SOMETHING THAT MATTERS.
Whether drawn by Fiorella’s Formula Drift pedigree, Bob Varsha’s motorsports stories or the opportunity to connect with Atlanta’s automotive community, guests will be part of an evening that pairs a passion for remarkable automobiles with a meaningful cause.
The November 13 reception is part of the two-day ‘Take a Drive with Kevin’ weekend, continuing Saturday, November 14, with a scenic drive through North Georgia and a special gathering at Wolf
Mountain Vineyards & Winery. Saturday’s experience includes a private automobile collection tour and an opportunity to connect over cars, camaraderie and a shared commitment to Parkinson’s.
Automotive enthusiasts, motorsports fans and supporters of the Parkinson’s community are invited to join Drive Toward a Cure® for this special tribute.
